Stoney Creek Refresh | Back Renovation of 3100 sf home with a 700 sf addition. This was a builders dream from the initial meeting and throughout the project the clients and builder were in sync with the potential of the existing structure and the vision for the new design. Our Vision was to increase volume of the home by removing the all the walls that separated the areas and raising the ceiling height in the main living areas. Along with converting the garage into the master suite with an office, both with views of the back yard. With the extensive use of natural materials throughout the home we created the warmth and country elegance the owners were looking for.The kitchen was expanded from a mere twelve feet of counter space to over thirty feet. The custom maple cabinetry in the kitchen is accented by the slate floors, Granite counter tops and view over the rest of the living area that is accented by a see-through fireplace covered with Austin limestone. The Master suite was created with the same warmth. The large patio doors and glass block window let light flow into the intimate setting of the master bath, with custom cabinetry resembling the appearance of furniture, limestone floors and the tumble marble shower, this is a bath you can truly enjoy being in.
