We always say if you can dream it, We can built it. Well, this one put those comments to the test.

This project was referred to us through an architect that was having a hard time finding a builder that would even look at the project. Although it seemed like a simple project, this home was built like a commercial high rise building. The thirty six square foot foundation required four twenty-four inch round piers drilled to a depth of thirty feet. The frame of the building was built with structural and light gauge steel. Which required us to find a commercial steel erection company.

Along with these detailed requirements for a residential project, the need to match every detail down to the exposed welds was of vital importance. We had learned that the Home was Awarded the 1986 Design Award by the Texas Society of Architects and wanted to maintain it's stature. We fabricated multiple steel members to match the original steel beams. The stucco was an outdated spray on application and no one had the necessary equipment, so we devised a way to match the texture by hand. The Marble used throughout the home was a unique size and color that we had to match. Overall it was a challenging project but, in the end you can not tell that the structure had been remodeled. Just the way every remodel should be!
